It's been a year...
Just a quick thank you to anyone that checks out the blog! It’s been an equally exciting but also taxing year for me both personally and professionally (weddings, losing people close to me, changing jobs, seeing my adult age children move forward in their college education, personal progress in moving my game away from ASP classic… whew!), and I’m low key hoping for a more boring year. 😂
A few goals -
* Mission critical - Beta test my rewrite for my horse racing game and move it out of ASP Classic
before the shoe officially drops
* Moving things forward - Add some more functionality to eYap (positing is easy now.. But that’s about it - fixing errors / updating - 😬). Getting my eYap blogging software integrated with ActivityPub (I have a lot of the plumbing done already when I was working with my BEPE software); I’d love to have ATProto integrated as well, but that’s unlikely given what else I need to prioritize
* Nice to haves - Get a few people to test my Jenkwerx Python web framework, maybe by opening my eYap blogging software to a few folks once I get it ActivityPub integrated
Have a happy and safe 2026 my peeps!

Keeping it Complex and Stupid
I've honestly not been thrilled with my social media experience lately, which is getting me motivated to work on the ActivityPub complement to my blog again in hopes of improving things in that arena.
To help facilitate that, I'm creating a MICRO category (shorter thoughts; will show up in RSS/Main+MICRO Feed/eventually ActivityPub) and a BLURB category (sillier/shorter stuff; No RSS/BLURB Feed Only/Eventually ActivityPub). Sorry if you got a BLURB in the RSS feed earlier; that should now be fixed.
If you have a blog and would be interested in working towards a concept of a possible "shared micro/blurb" section area that should have some ActivityPub components as well, feel free to reach out to me on one of the socials I have listed at the bottom of my Undistinguished.com blog page and I'll keep you in the loop as things progress.
Let's do this!
